That Was Then....This Is Now

I have 2.4 pounds to lose before I can post another progress picture.  But I thought I would do a quick face comparison.  This is me 37.6 pounds heavier at 275 pounds and a picture of me now at 237.4 pounds.

I can see a big difference.  I love this.  I feel like I look the same.  But I guess not!  This brightened my day.

  1. Isn't it wonderful when the neck starts to be a discernible NECK again???? I remember just staring in a mirror going, 'I have a neck! I have a neck!" hahahah.

I regret getting so big cause the loose skin (jowls, arms, thighs, belly, ,butt, sides, back, breasts, knees, even) is gross and vexing. BUT...it's nice to see bones and neck and a normal human silhouette emerge from the fat. It's very cheering.

    On we go....

  4. I'm loving the progress! The face - amazing to see a change in our face & neck alone. I wish there was a way to measure face inches, I would so do it.

Also, you have a lovely smile!

  7. You look like an entirely different person! Great skin in both before and after though. (Lucky!)

You mentioned in another blogger's comments that you've yet to try almond butter, so I clicked on over here and let you know that if you're eager to try it, I really, highly, enthusiastically recommend Justin's *Chocolate* Almond Butter. http://justinsnutbutter.com/index.php I just discovered it a few weeks ago and I'm completely hooked. It's sooooooo good!!! I mix it into protein shakes w/ bananas or berries, put it on any type of bread or rice cake, and - honestly - just eat a spoonful from the jar instead of "dessert".

  8. Oh, you can DEFINITELY see the difference! I found some old photos of myself that I'm going to be posting along with my update this week. It's crazy how much your body changes without your notice, isn't it?
